The Internet Really Wants To Know Where Bali Is - Google recently published its list of most frequently searched keywords and questions of 2016.
Last year, it seems that the location of the Indonesian island of Bali has been a subject of particular interest among American Web users.
Google has revealed the top 10 travel questions most frequently asked by American users. Coming top of the list, the geographical location of Bali – a Hindu island found between the islands of Java and Lombok in the Indonesian archipelago – appears to have piqued the interest of web users in the United States.
In fourth place, “Where is Corfu” proved another popular question for American travellers last year. A trendy European destination in 2016, the Greek island is located in the Ionian Sea, unlike other well-known island hotspots like Santorini.
The location of Bora Bora, in French Polynesia (sixth), and the Grand Canyon (10th) complete the list of geography-based travel questions.
