The world No. 7 oozed class as she outgunned world No. 2 Camille Serme of France 11-6, 11-6, 11-8 in the quarter-finals at the Airco Arena in Hull on Friday.
It is the eight-time world champion's 16th win over Serme in all meetings.
The Penangite, who is on track for her sixth British title, meets England's Sarah-Jane Perry for a place in the final.
The 26-year-old Perry outlasted Australia's Donna Urquhart 11-4, 7-11, 13-11, 6-11, 11-4 in the quarter-finals.
The other semi-final will be between defending champion and world No. 1 Nour El Sherbini of Egypt and fifth seed Laura Massaro of England.
