Peter Cetera To Perform In Malaysia This September

Peter Cetera To Perform In Malaysia This September - Peter Cetera clearly loves Malaysia. We can see why – we’re a hard habit to break. Still, it’s hard for us to say sorry, especially when Cetera decides to stay the night.

The former lead singer of Chicago will be returning for a show at the Mega Star Arena, Kuala Lumpur on Sept 6, 8pm.

It is part of Cetera’s South-East Asia tour, which also features Manila in the Philippines and Singapore.

Cetera was previously here for the David Foster & Friends Asia Tour 2015 concert in Genting, but this time around, the stage will be all his as he delivers an intimate show accompanied by a seven-piece band.

The 72-year-old was the lead singer for Chicago from 1968 to 1985, and is the voice behind many of the band’s greatest hits, including Hard To Say I’m Sorry, Love Me Tomorrow, Stay The Night, Hard Habit To Break and You’re The Inspiration.

Cetera also enjoyed a fruitful solo career after leaving Chicago in 1985 – though his debut solo album, 1981’s Peter Cetera, flopped. But the follow-up, Solitude/Solitaire produced two No. 1 singles – The Next Time I Fall, a duet with Amy Grant, and Glory Of Love.

Featured on the soundtrack for The Karate Kid II, Glory Of Love topped the US Billboard Top 100 chart for two weeks in 1986.

The song also got Cetera nominations for Best Pop Vocal Performance (Male) at the 1987 Grammy Awards and Best Original Song at the Academy Awards.

Tickets for his Malaysian concert are priced from RM350 and are available at www.AsiaBoxOffice.com.
