SEA Games: Shalin And Rafiq Strike Bowling Golds - Veteran Shalin Zulkifli ended her Kuala Lumpur SEA Games campaign in style, winning her third gold in the women's Masters event on Friday.
The 39-year-old beat Indonesia's Tannya Roumimper 246-220, 223-222 in the stepladder final at the Sunway Mega Lanes to recapture the title she last won at the Brunei Games in 1999.
Rafiq Ismail made it a glorious double when he defeated Thailand's Yannaphon Larpapharat 213-190 in the men's final.
With the two gold medals, Malaysia has equalled its best-ever feat of seven gold medals in bowling, achieved in Brunei and Kuala Lumpur 2001.
