Malaysia Airlines Soars With Raya Around The World - Malaysia Airlines this week released its festive campaign video, Raya Around The World, produced for Hari Raya 2017.
The advertisement looks at how different cultures observe Hari Raya worldwide, and offers a poignant message at how travel and discovery can enrich a person’s life by opening them up new perspectives. The video also evokes a sense of camaraderie and acceptance shared across the world.
“Malaysians have been looking forward to Malaysia Airlines festive communications after last year’s commercial hit Boleh Adik Ikut? and this year’s Chinese New Year’s Truly Malaysian Greeting,” says Malaysia Airlines Group CEO Peter Bellew.
“This year’s three-minute video aims to inspire viewers to travel and explore the world by showing them the beauty of other cultures and countries around the world and how they celebrate Eid. We truly believe that this commercial can uplift the brand and also promote the destinations on the Malaysia Airlines’ network.
“All talents in the video, led by our very own pilot, Captain Zakir Ibrahim and wife, are real families who have never done a commercial before. We chose these talents to maintain the authenticity and the essence of the commercial,” Bellew adds.
The advertisement takes viewers from Malaysia to China, India and Japan, which are all key destinations for Malaysia Airlines, to show viewers a different point of view of the Hari Raya or Eid experience.
Malaysia Airlines has also introduced an interactive microsite that showcases the countries and highlights their Eid cuisines, fashion and traditions practiced by Muslims there. The site includes behind-the-scene footages and e-greetings, too.
