SEA Games: Terengganu Sultan Bags Gold Medal In Equestrian - The Sultan of Terengganu Tuanku Mizan Zainal Abidin bagged a gold medal in the equestrian endurance event at the 2017 SEA Games on Sunday.
Tuanku Mizan won gold in the individual category, while Malaysia also won the team category.
More than 20 riders earlier took part in the SEA Games endurance race that began in the wee hours of Sunday morning at the Terengganu International Endurance Park (TIEP) in Setiu.
Five teams namely Malaysia, Thailand, Cambodia, Singapore and Brunei took part in the competition which started at 3am.
The riders had to go through an 80km track and the horses would have to undergo checks at designated locations to ensure their fitness.
